Subject #444: Female Patient
Procedure: Teeth Whitening and Veneers for a Beautiful Smile
| When KJ was a child she had a
bicycle accident that knocked out her front tooth. Nothing was
done as a final replacement of the tooth since she was young and
had not completed the growth phase of her skeletal structures.
For a long time KJ was just wearing a removable replacement
tooth and slowly the space closed and there wasn't enough room
for a correct size tooth. After a thorough smile evaluation, we
completed a diagnostic wax up of the teeth on the models to
preview the final result. This also serves as the blueprint
guide for the final aesthetic outcome. The treatment for KJ
consisted of a combination of porcelain laminates and caps.
Anytime the smile makeover consists of a combination of
Caps/Laminates and also realignment of the smile to gain harmony
and symmetry a high level of complexity is introduced to the
process. KJ's comment at the end was " Wow, I would have never
believed it could look this good, I am really happy".
