Dr. Hedge has had extensive
training and is a graduate of The Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. The Las Vegas
Institute is the premier Cosmetic Institute in the world with respect to
cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Hedge and office manager Corine
Leech teach to dentists, the benefits of dentistry at LVI (the Las Vegas Institute) on a monthly basis. Dr.
Hedge was chosen by the ABC team to be the dentist for Cincinnati, Ohio’s
Extreme Makeover.
About Dr. Thomas K. Hedge
Dr. Hedge was born in Mentor,
Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. He, his wife, Tiffany, and his daughter Cecily,
now live in Cincinnati. Dr. Hedge attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio
where he double majored in biology and chemistry. During his education at
the Ohio State University College of Dentistry he conducted research
resulting in the publication of seven abstracts and one paper and numerous
awards at the state and national level.
Following his graduation from dental school he completed a general practice
residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. This
advanced education included additional training in anesthesia, pediatrics,
emergency medicine, geriatrics, Temporomandibular Joint Treatment,
endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, prosthetics and
implantology.
Dr. Tom Hedge established the Dental Health Center in West Chester, Ohio, a
Cincinnati suburb. Since founding the center in 1988, Dr. Hedge has
established it as the leading practice for restorative dentistry in southern
Ohio. Dr. Hedge is nationally recognized not only for excellence in clinical
programs, but for sound business practices that make full use of the newest
technologies in dentistry. Dr. Hedge is an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey
Institute and the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. He has
participated in over 250 hours of continuing education per year over the
last decade. Dr. Hedge is a frequent contributor to newsletters and
magazines that promote professional development, including Dental Economics,
Dentistry Today, The Profitable Dentist, Dental Products Reports,
Contemporary Esthetics, and Dental Town Magazine.
About the Dental Health Center
For your
comfort the Dental Health Center has blankets, warm pillows for your neck,
hot towels for post treatment clean up, and paraffin treatments for your
hands. In addition to high-speed Internet access in every treatment room,
the Dental Health Center has televisions in the ceilings of our treatment
rooms. The screens are placed over your head when reclined. Sound is
accessed by headphones. Content is provided by the Dish Network with over
400 channels including The Golf Channel, CNN, CNBC, HGTV, the Travel
Channel, the History Channel, Discovery, and many cartoon channels. There is
also a fine collection of movies for you to choose from.
