About Dr. Richard V. Eidelson
Dr.
Richard V. Eidelson
graduated Temple University School of Dentistry in 1976. He has maintained a
private practice for over twenty years and currently provides cosmetic and
implant dental services. He was on the staff as an assistant clinical
professor in oral medicine 1996-1998 at Temple University School of
Dentistry. In 1998 he was appointed Director of Dental Services for the
Simpson House providing dental services for patients with complex dental
needs and for those who are medically compromised. He was past Vice
President of Temple University School of Dentistry Alumni Board. His
commitment to dentistry is paralleled by his affiliation with numerous dental
societies and study groups (Cosmetic Consortium, Eastern Dental Society,
Academy of General Dentistry and Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). He is a
strong advocate of continuing education and attends courses on the local,
regional and national level. Dr. Eidelson received a certificate from the
post graduate program in Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of
Minnesota School of Dentistry department of continuing education. Dr.
Eidelson is a graduate of the A-Z Implant Dentistry post graduate program at UCLA University
which focuses on the latest theories and techniques in implant
dentistry. Dr. Eidelson, a father, cares about his community. He is an
active member of the Rotary Club of Bala Cynwyd-Narberth since 1997. He has
served on numerous committees as well as initiated new projects. He served
as past president for the years 1999-2000.
Dental Implants are small prosthetic posts that are placed into the bone of
the upper or lower jaw. Unlike bridges they act as replacements for the root
portion of lost teeth and can act as an anchor for other replacement teeth.
Because there is always a perfect fit with implants, you'll feel as if you
have your natural teeth back. Only you and your doctor will know that the
implants aren't real. Implants can also take the place of old unseemly
crowns and dentures. Now you can laugh, eat corn, and not worry about loose
Dentures.
The Dental Director and staff at the Office of Dr. Eidelson have been doing
implant dentistry for many years. They continue to take educational classes
to keep up with "What's new in this field". Implant dentistry has changed
many peoples' way of life. It can give a patient back that confident smile
and allow him to eat without worry.
Dr.
Eidelson utilizes the CEREC
restorative device. CEREC by Sirona
Dental Systems is the world's only system for the fabrication of all ceramic
dental restorations in one office visit.

About the practice of Dr. Richard V. Eidelson
The Dental
Office of Dr. Richard Eidelson is dedicated to serving the community by
providing the best dentistry and oral medicine to our patients. We
understand that you will have questions about your dental needs and dental
procedures. We are here to answer any questions you may have because we
believe that the best patient is an informed patient. We will also tell you
what options are available. We work with many top healthcare professionals
and dental specialists and can advise you when one is also needed. Our goal
is to help return you to excellent oral health with as little inconvenience
as possible.
Our well-trained personal caring staff is
adept in all phases of general dentistry for adults. We have a dental
hygiene program that educates our patients on preventive dentistry. Dr.
Eidelson believes in treating the whole person not just the mouth. We also
provide complete oral medicine evaluation and head and neck review for all
of our patients. We strongly recommend that our patients take advantage of
our oral health maintenance program at least twice a year. If it's necessary
we'll send you to an associate periodontist. Whether it's a cleaning,
x-rays, fillings (we use no mercury fillings), porcelain laminates, root
canal, or crown and bridge work, we take in consideration the entire mouth
and make sure that we are always keeping in mind the premise, that your
smile tells people who you are. We take great pride in our work because we
care.
