Subject #145: Female Patient
Procedure: Repair of previous "Cosmetic" dentists attempt
to camouflage this patients missing laterals. Her cuspids had been "cut
down" in an attempt to create the look of lateral incisors. The old mismatched and
oversized metal-based crowns on her central incisors and molars, gave the appearance of
unhealthy dark lines along the gum line and a kind of "bunny rabbit" look to her
smile. Her new smile design was achieved through the use of beautiful, light translucent,
all porcelain crowns. The old cuspids were carefully re-designed to become laterals, the
1st bicuspids became cuspids and the 2nd bicuspids became 1st bicuspids. She now has a
lovely, natural array of teeth and an elegant, womanly new look.
