Subject #130: Male Patient
Procedure: Childhood injuries to front teeth are very common causes for nerve death and subsequent darkening of front teeth. A darkened incisor along with imperfectly matched crowns and dark triangles between teeth all added up to a less than perfect smile for this business professional. Since 92% of adults agree than an attractive smile is an important social asset and 74% say an unattractive smile can hurt a person’s career success, this young patient chose to invest in his smile and make it the best it could be. He understood that his investment in himself was a choice that would permeate every aspect of his personal and professional life. A combination of porcelain crowns and veneers were used to create the perfect smile.
